| WHEN YOU TEACH CHILDREN TO LOVE AND RESPECT ANIMALS, THEY WILL ALSO LEARN TO LOVE AND RESPECT PEOPLE. |
| Loli’s Place, written by Paul Marturano, is a children’s story about shelter dogs that teaches children to treat animals well. The book is based on the true story of a shelter dog named, Loli.
The book was written to teach children to love animals and also to provide funding for vet care, spaying and neutering and finding homes for homeless animals.
Loli's Place, Inc., a non-profit organization, was founded by Loli's parents, two former members of the staff of the television show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with Regis Philbin.
Loli passed on at age 14 in October of 2005. Loli's Place, Inc. has been established in her honor so that she may leave a mark on the world for other animals that is just as wonderful as the mark she left on our hearts.
The Non-Profit Organization was officially incorporated in August of 2007 and filed the paperwork for 501c3 tax exempt status in Novemeber 2007. Our tax exempt status is currently pending.
The Children's Book is currently being Illustrated and will be available in Spring of 2008! Royalties from book sales and donations to Loli's Place, Inc. will be used to provide vet care and help find homes for homeless animals.
In the future, once the funds are raised through events and donations, Loli's Place, Inc. plans to start several "No Kill" Animal Sanctuaries.
The overall goal amd Mission of Loli's Place, Inc. is to end the euthanization of homeless animals by controlling overpopulation by spaying and neutering, finding homes for homeless animals and building No Kill Animal Santuaries across the United States.
WHEN YOU TEACH CHILDREN TO LOVE AND RESPECT ANIMALS, THEY WILL ALSO LEARN TO LOVE AND RESPECT PEOPLE.
